Legacy Learners, a private Educational and ABA therapy specialty practice seeking to add a part-time medical finance administrative support specialist to the office team to work Mondays through Thursdays. The candidate for this position will serve as the medical finance administrative support specialist for the CFO. The ideal candidate for this position should be well-spoken, organized, detail-oriented, responsive, helpful, and possess excellent customer service skills, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the simultaneous ability to multi-task/balance multiple work responsibilities while maintaining an appropriate level of productivity. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Insurance Claims Processing: Assist with processing insurance claims in compliance with regulations.
- Medical Software Usage: Gain experience working with medical software for financial transactions.
- Financial Record Management: Support in maintaining accurate records of receivables and payables.
- Compliance Assistance: Stay updated on medical and insurance policies to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Credentialing Support: Help prepare and submit credentialing applications, verifying licenses and certifications.
- Record Maintenance: Organize and update credentialing records, track expiration dates, and notify providers.
- Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with different departments to streamline credentialing and administrative tasks.
- Customer Service: Answer phone calls, take messages, and assist in communication between healthcare providers and patients.
- Audit Assistance: Support in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
