We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern to support our sales and client outreach initiatives focused on Salesforce Development and Support Services. This is a hands-on, engaging role ideal for someone interested in technology and business development. You will work directly with our sales and strategy team to identify, connect, and engage potential clients through a mix of channels, including phone calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms, industry events, and in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Identify and research potential customers in target industries
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through multi-channel outreach
- Set up meetings and coordinate follow-ups for senior sales staff
- Assist in crafting outreach messaging for email and LinkedIn
- Track outreach activities and maintain CRM records
- Represent the company at local networking events and trade shows
- Learn and contribute to evolving sales strategies and pitch development
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in technology, CRM solutions, and direct sales
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Self-starter with an energetic and engaging personality
- Comfortable speaking to professionals and decision-makers
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (Fridays remote; rest on-site in Ashburn)
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, methods, and feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or outreach (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus
