Position Overview: As our Summer Branding & Marketing Intern, you’ll help develop and execute a comprehensive summer marketing strategy to increase tasting room traffic, elevate the customer experience, and build brand visibility. You’ll gain hands-on experience in brand development, content creation, event marketing, and performance analysis—all while working directly with our leadership team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Contribute to the design of a focused summer marketing and branding plan that includes strategic promotions, event concepts, and customer engagement tactics.
- Event Planning & Execution: Help plan and implement engaging on-site events designed to drive traffic and enhance brand awareness.
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms to drive engagement and reinforce brand voice.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Work closely with the tasting room team to improve the guest experience, incorporating real-time feedback and best practices.
- Performance Tracking & Insights: Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., tasting room traffic, sales, social engagement), prepare weekly reports, and use data insights to adjust tactics in real time.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to align on goals, gather feedback, and iterate on strategy throughout the summer.
- Brand Storytelling: Help articulate and share the story of CWC and our partners in a compelling, authentic way across channels.
Key Focus Areas:
- Event Marketing: Plan and run community-facing events to attract and engage visitors.
- Digital Content & Social Media: Develop compelling digital content aligned with CWC’s identity.
- Customer Engagement: Create memorable experiences that reflect and enhance our brand.
- Partnership Promotion: Strategically highlight collaborative wines and partner producers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiasm for wine, hospitality, and creative storytelling.
- Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
- Background or interest in marketing, branding, communications, or events.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram and Facebook).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Common Wealth Crush Co.
Established in 2022, Common Wealth Crush Co. (CWC) is the first winemaking operation of its kind in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley’s. Built with small producers in mind, we are custom crush meets incubator meets thinktank cooperative. This summer we’re looking for a creative, proactive intern to help us as we expand and enhance our direct-to-consumer brand presence and deepen customer connections.

iQuasar LLC, as the staffing agency for the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) internship program, will handle the scheduling of interviews and onboarding processes. As part of this process, interns will be placed on iQuasar LLC’s payroll.
